If you’re in the mood for a great steak, Gatlinburg offers four steakhouse restaurants that you might like to try.  Each offers its own “red meat” flair, unique atmosphere and southern hospitality that will have you coming back for more!

Surrender your hunger at the door and attack your appetite at the Alamo Steakhouse that was voted “Best Steaks” by locals in 2011 and 2012.  Serving hand cut, oak-fired Black Angus steaks and in-house ground burgers.  The dinner menu features appetizers, soups, salads, steaks, chicken, pork, and fish and shrimp.

Group dining and private receptions for up to 60 people can be accommodated at the Pigeon Forge location prior to 4 p.m. daily.

Although the Alamo doesn’t accept dinner reservations, you might like to enjoy a romantic meal with intimate dining.  These “by reservation only” private tables are tucked away from the main dining area.  Call (866) 299-9295 to reserve your private table.  You can also inquire about a romantic meal “to go” featuring all the great fixings for a wonderful meal and steaks to grill at your cabin or condo.

Greenbrier Restaurant is housed in a historic log cabin built in 1939 and offers fine dining in a casual, kid-friendly atmosphere.  It’s known for its daily Chef Specials and also offers appetizers, salads, soups, steaks and seafood entrees.

Private parties and groups of up to 25 people are welcome to reserve the private dining area and choose from a custom menu or regular menu ordering options.  They welcome wedding parties, family reunions, birthday parties and business groups.  *Sorry, the private dining room is not wheel chair accessible.

The Peddler offers a mountain setting next to the Little Pigeon River with tabletop dining.  The three dining areas are handicapped accessible and include fireplace dining, riverside dining and a main dining room.  Naturally aged steaks are cut at your table and then grilled over Tennessee Hickory charcoals.  Entree choices include steaks and prime rib, chicken, fish, and shrimp all served with a fresh salad bar.

Groups of 5-30 guests are invited to enjoy semi-private dining with a regular or customized menu.
